Souhail Kaspar is a master percussionist, known worldwide for his brilliant
technique, exciting performances, and teaching skills. A true virtuoso, his
ability to improvise and embellish the rhythmic patterns of Arabic music, as
well as his knowledge of ethnic musical history, have made him one of the most
highly acclaimed performer/instructors of our day.
Sylvana (aka
Chris Campbell) has a polished and yet exuberant dance style. Her love of the dance and
the music comes out as soon as the music begins. Music and dance go
hand in hand for obvious reasons, and Sylvana uses dance to interpret
the mood of the music and to put movement to the underlying rhythms.
